The research group headed by Assistant Professor Eszter Csoma has won the Count István Tisza Foundation for the University of Debrecen and the University of Debrecen Publication Award for its scientific article summarizing research findings on polyomaviruses. Regarding the new polyomaviruses that infect both animals and humans, there are still quite a few unanswered questions. A delegation from the northeastern Chinese city of Jiamusi was received by the management of the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen on Tuesday.
